UNCLE HUB'S ADVICE ON BEING A MAN

You remember that boy, you remember that. Doesn't matter if they're true or not. A man should believe in those things because those are the things worth believing in."

This is from Secondhand Lions, one of my alltime favorite movies. This is part of Uncle Hub's speech to young men telling them what they need to know to be a man, delivered beautifully and movingly by Robert Duvall. It is my very favorite quote. I would put it in my email siggy if it wasn't so long. It is what I want my son and grandsons to know.
